This course is essentially for non-members of DILI Academy, helping young athletes through their first steps in their athletics journey. We run series of rolling fundamental courses for quad kids, aged 7 to 12 years of age.
– Children must be 7 years of age on the day of our program.

We introduce young athletes to learn correct technical principles of sprinting, throwing, and jumping. While receiving support from UKA licences athletic coaches, we are dedicated to providing a supportive and inclusive environment where all quad kids can thrive.

On this course, quad kid athletes dress to represent DILI Academy, club colours of Red, White and black, foster our team spirit and compete in entry level competitions, in a NON PRESSURED, child friendly atmosphere, within groups of their own age band.

Athlete Progression Schedule

Athletes are expected to attend at least 80% of sessions to ensure consistent participation and development. Young athletes progress through age groups based on their school year.

Please be aware that DILI Academy is not part of Lee valley athletics centre and therefore they will be unable to give you information on DILI Academy. DILI Academy does not own or manage Lee Valley stadium itself. Therefore, for coached sessions held at Lee Valley athletics centre, there is a charge (a “track fee”) made by the centre’s management company for use of Lee Valley facilities. All athletes are required to pay track access / usage fee on the day(s) / night(s) of training. (Please visit Better.org) Please do not turn up at the track without making payment for training.
