DILI Academy – On the Road, Track, and Field

At DILI Academy, we welcome athletes who are committed to pursuing high-quality coaching and competitive opportunities. We’re a performance-driven athletics club, and we expect all squad members to attend training regularly and to compete for the club when selected.

We operate at a competitive level. We’re selective in our recruitment. Places are limited, and we can only accept the number of athletes that our coaching team can support effectively.

• Once we have reached our coach to athlete ratio for each of the run, jump and throw groups, we will operate a waiting list for future members.  Note all athletes are required to become a member and have membership. 

DILI ACADEMY STARTS ON THE FIELD, ROAD AND TRACK

Before joining one of our squad groups, we encourage potential new members to attend a trail assessment with the club. A registration form must be completed, as well as a short description of you, what you are looking to achieve and a short footage of yourself training. DILI Academy do not accept applications, from junior athletes under the age of11 years. Athletes must be 12 years of age (year 8) or over on the day of a trial assessment. After the assessment, we will reply with our thoughts.

DILI Academy does not own or manage Lee Valley stadium itself. Therefore, for coached sessions held at Lee Valley athletics centre, there is a charge (a “track fee”) made by the centre’s management company for use of Lee Valley facilities. All athletes are required to pay track access / usage fee on the day(s) / night(s) of training. (Please visit Better.org) Please do not turn up at the track without making payment for training.
